What is hypnotherapy, and how does it work?
Hypnotherapy uses guided deep relaxation to access your subconscious mind—where your habits, emotional responses, and deep beliefs live. While in a relaxed, safe state, we work together to shift the thoughts, patterns, and responses that are no longer serving you. You are ALWAYS in control!
What issues can hypnotherapy help with?
I specialize in helping women with anxiety, trauma, stress-related health issues, panic attacks, phobias, self-worth struggles, identity loss, betrayal trauma, and religious OCD. Hypnotherapy is also effective for chronic pain, emotional regulation, and nervous system reset.
What happens in a session?
Each session begins with a brief check-in to talk about what’s coming up for you. Then you’ll be guided into a deep state or relaxation where we’ll work directly with your subconscious mind to release blocks and create new, supportive patterns. You’ll leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more in control.
Is everything confidential?
Yes. Your privacy is deeply respected. Everything shared during your session is kept fully confidential, just like in any therapeutic setting.
What if I don’t think I can be hypnotized?
The vast majority of people can be guided into a hypnotic state—it’s simply a natural, relaxed state of focused attention. If you’ve ever gotten lost in a book, a drive, or a daydream, you’ve experienced a similar state already.
Will I be unconscious or out of control during hypnosis?
Not at all. You’ll be deeply relaxed, but fully aware and in control the entire time. Hypnosis is not mind control—it’s simply a focused, calm state where you can access your subconscious mind more easily. You won’t do or say anything you don’t want to.
All change that happens during hypnotherapy is guided by your own subconscious mind. You’re always in control, and nothing can be changed unless your mind agrees to it. You’re the one in the driver’s seat, I’m just here to guide the process.
How many sessions will I need?
That depends on your goals and what you’re working through. Many clients feel a shift after just one session, while others choose to work together over several sessions if there are multiple layers to the issue. We’ll create a plan that fits your needs.
Can I do this if I’ve never done hypnosis before?
Absolutely. No experience is necessary. I’ll guide you every step of the way and make sure you feel safe and supported throughout the process
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes, all sessions are currently held virtually until our office is complete. Virtual appointments will always be available to those who live too far from the office. You can experience the benefits of hypnotherapy from the comfort of your own home—no travel required
